I recently stayed at Hotel Herdegen in Passau for my first trip to Europe. The room was spacious, clean, and had a comfortable bed. The hotel's location was convenient, with easy access to both the train station and the Danube River. The breakfast provided was absolutely amazing, with a variety of exotic dishes that were beautifully prepared. The staff were friendly and made a delicious cup of coffee. great value for less than 50 Euro.

The room was clean and the location was great. It was easy to access the hotel and our room thanks to clear instructions and a key automat. the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions we had.

On the other hand, the Wi-Fi was unreliable and the breakfast was not very impressive. We also had issues with the garage not allowing us to move our car after a certain time, which was inconvenient.

This hotel is right in the middle of everything! You can easily walk to the major landmarks, and it's also close to the railway station. The room is large and comfortable, with good coffee at breakfast. Staff is very helpful and attentive, always ready to lend a hand.

The building itself could use some updating.

I had a short stopover at a hotel in Passau which was in an ideal location for my needs. It was conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from the boat terminal and a 5-minute walk from the train station. This made it easy for me to arrive by boat from Linz and then continue my journey by train. the hotel was also in a good location for exploring Passau Old Town. the staff, especially the night and morning porters, were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast at the hotel was also great, with fresh strawberries being a highlight. Cons: None. 🙌.
